Unwind 5:

This section of the Book is called Unwound. They arrive at the harvest camp and realize that exercise is a main focus. At every sports court there are either cameras for every person playing or people with clipboards watching to see how their body moves and if muscles work right. It is found out that Lev's group killed the Goldens by suffocation before Lev got there and they are planning on blowing up the harvest camp by being Clappers who are people who, when they ingest a certain liquid, self-destruct if their blood comes out of their veins. Roland gets Unwound a few days later and the process is explained in detail for the first time. The person is conscious until they take the last chunk of themselves out. The law says that people being Unwound have to be able to see it happening to them and be awake. They don't feel pain because of a drug they inject in him. After Roland is gone it's Connor's turn. It's exactly the time the Clappers are going to detonate the building he's going into so Lev runs to Connor to try and save him as he walks into the building. Right after Connor walks in, the building explodes as two Clappers explode. Lev doesn't. Lev runs in and saves Connor who is missing an arm and an eye, and Risa from the destroyed building.

Part 7 of the story is called consiousness. At the hospital Connor wakes up and realizes he has been given Roland's arm and eye. The nurse gives him a fake I.D. which says he is just old enough not to get Unwound. Risa turns out to be paralyzed from the waist down because she refused to be given parts of other people. She knew if she accepted she would be sent straight to another harvest camp. But since she's paralyzed shes unelligible to be harvested. Lev can't be Unwound because the fluid he drank to be a Clapper stays with you your whole life, even if he got rid of most of it. The authorities say they always knew about the Admiral's Graveyard but they left them there because it got the Unwound's out of the cities hair so Connor and Risa start that up again along with some of the surviving original Graveyard people. The Admiral lives but he lives in his house in Texas. Lev goes to live with his brother who never wanted him to be Unwound. At the Admiral's house there is a party going on with all of the people who have the parts of his son, including Emby to celebrate his Unwound son's 26th birthday. And this is the end of the book unwound.

Unwind 4:

This setion of the book is called gravyard, and it is part five of the story. The new unwinds face a tribunal of sorts with the top three that were chosen by the Admiral to find a job for them. Connor gets mechanic, Risa is assigned medic and Roland is learning how to fly a helicopter from "Cleaver" another high-up that is not an unwind like the other high-ups. During the course of a month the unwinds get used living in the Graveyard, where they had jobs. Also people grow suspicious of the Admiral because of his abnormally white teeth which they think are from a Unwind. Rumors fly that the Admiral is just here to pick and choose Unwinds. A few days later Lev shows up. No one knows how he got there but he looks so different that Connor did not reconize him right away. A few days later the Admiral chooses Connor to fix a coffeemaker. Admiral says that he hears of Connor a lot because of his fights, but he always fixes the problem. But the coffee maker could not be fixed, but the admiral knew this, and he secratly wanted to have a conversation with Connor. The Admiral explains that Connor's feelings of unease around him are based on rumors. The Admiral wears dentures and he started this because his son was unwound, and that he made a huge mistake by giving his son up. The Admiral also shows him 5 dead people, who werer his top 5, the 3 that gave the tribunals, and 2 others newly arrived people meet. The Admiral wants Connor to find out who killed these people. and he wants connor to be a spy. The Admiral also tells Conner the whole truth about the Heartland War and how the Bill of Life came to be. Lev meets up with Cleaver, and two other kids who want to shake up things in the world. In the next few days Risa notices something going on with both Connor and Lev and tries to get to the bottom of it. Lev and his gang sign up for a job on an oil rig in Alaska. The Admiral admits to Emby, one of the people in Connor's crate when they arrived in the Graveyard has his son Harlan's lung. He sends Emby to his ex-wife to meet other parts of Harlan. It is then revealed that Harlan is the basis of an urban legend Humphrey Dunfee. After the inhabitants of the Graveyard realize people are missing, they begin to forom a mob. Someone unplugs the power line which shuts down all power in the plane the Admiral and Risa are in, making the temperature soar to around 100. While this is happening Connor is trying to get a confession out of Roland that he killed the top 5. When word reaches Connor about the mob he rushes over to try and help, leaving Roland. Connor gets the mob to stop and opens the door to a dying Admiral. He had a heart attack because of the heat in the plane. He rushes to Roland since he is the only one who can fly a helicopter since the mob killed Cleaver because he was associated with the Admiral after he makes a comment about suffocating. Connor figures out he killed the Goldens, the top 5. They fly a helicopter to a hospital to try and save the Admiral. Admiral doesn't want a Unwound kids heart so they do what doctors did before the Heartland Wars. Roland turns in Connor, Risa, the people who live in the Graveyard and inadvertently himself. Then Juvey-cops take away Roland, Risa and Connor to a harvest camp. And it seems as though this is the end for the unwinds.

Unwind 3:

The fourth section of this book is called Destinations. Connor and Risa find themselves in a Graveyard, while CyFi and Lev make their way to Joplin Missouri, the home of Cy's brain owner. The section begins at a pawn shop, where Lev tries to sell a diamond bracelet (stolen by CyFi) to get money. At the warehouse, Connor, Risa, and the other Unwinds are being herded by the fatigues into airline crates. each creat has four unwinds. To avoid being in Rolland's box, Connor gets into a fight with one Roland's followers. Connor ends up in a create with Hayden, Emby, and Diego. As they travel in the darkened crate, the four wonder where they are being transported. During the trip, they discuss whether unwinds are considered dead or alive, and whether they would rather be killed or unwound. Hayden asks what happens to someone's soul when they get unwound, and they begin to talk about this topic along their journey. When the plane lands and the crates are opened, Risa finds out that they have landed in a graveyard in the middle of nowhere and hears that five kids suffocated to death on their journey here. She finds Connor among a crowd of Unwinds who are waiting to receive clothes and food. Then the Admiral is introduced, and the Unwinds find out they are to stay in the graveyard until they are eighteen years old.

Unwind 2:

the thrid part of this story is called Transit. during this section Lev, who was last seen reporting Connor and Risa, and then pulling the fire alarm. He escapes the school where he then meets Cyfi. Cyfi teaches Lev tricks that will help prevent him from going hungry. Cyfi and Lev go into a christmas store and though Cyfi claims to be against steeling, he takes an ornament. Cyfi explains to Lev that he has part of an unwind's brain, and that the part of the brain sometimes takes over his body, and it forces him to steel. Lev and Cyfi later go to the ware house and they meet up with Connor and Risa. There are hundred of unwinds in this ware house, and they are all having christmas dinner. Risa and connor talk about Roland, another unwind at the ware house, Risa beleives that Roland is playing a game with them. Connor thinks hard and strategically about how to take down Roland. later Roland tries to make a pass at risa bathroom, but connor doesnt fall for the bait and he defuses the situation.

Unwind:

Triplicate is the first of 7 parts on the book Unwind.
Connor Lassiter is a 16 year old boy who descovers that he is going to be unwound. Ariana (a close freind of his) gives him the idea of kicking AWOL or running away. Connor doesnt beleive he'd be able to go out into the world on his own, so he asks her to go along with him. she agrees, but the next night when he goes to her house to pick her up, she has second thoughts, so now connor is on his own. Connor finds a truck stop, and a trucker there agrees to give him an escape route. connor gets in the back of the truck. Unfortunally the Juvey cops find connor and pull over the truck. he makes a run for it. while running across the road, dodgeing tranqualizers, he finds a tithe. then connor sees a girl run into the woods, he pulls the boy from the car and makes a run for it into the woods after the girl.
lev is hit with a bullet, and he is now unconssious. a juvey cop is hot on their trail, but by the time he reaches them all connor and risa (the girl) have already made a plan, and they ambush the juvey cop. they three leave the scene and by the end of this section they head into the city.

Storked is the 2 section of the book. While the three kids are in the city they look for new clothes. connor and Risa descover that there is no report in the news paper of them missing. To avoid a cop the three hop on a school bus, but before connor gets on he sees a storked baby. Connor feels bad for the child, and he goes and takes it with him, this angers Risa and Lev. While on this bus Lev trys his best to communicate with a student that he has been kidnapped by an AWOL and that he just wants to be tithed. this conversation foreshadows what Lev will do in the near future. Connor and Risa pretend as if the baby is one of their own, they meet a single mother Alexis. The three unwinds hide in the girls bathroom at the school. They stay and wait for an oppertunity to escape. while during passing time Lev makes a run for it. the other unwinds lose him in the croud and Lev reports the kidnapping to the school office. he calls pastor Dan and he learns that the priest does not want him to be unwound. and that everyone outside of his family already believes that he is unwound. The pastor incourages Lev to start a new life for himself. Lev panics and pulls the fire alarm to help everyone escape. the unwinds think it is too risky to leave the school so they hide in a science room. Unfortunatly the baby cries, and the crying catches the attention of a teacher. Hanna (the teacher) helps Risa, connor, and the baby reach a safe house for Unwinds. at the safe house which is in the back of an antique shoop down town, connor and Risa meet Sonia. Sonia takes them to a hiden basement inwhich they meet other unwinds. they are incouraged to write letters to love ones. these letters would be sent to the people when the unwinds turn 18. Eventually the "ice cream man" comes and he takes them to a ware house filled with other unwinds.
